Small Scale Show is a group exhibition featuring the work of Alyss Estay, Chyrum Lambert, Hannah Knight Leighton, Ian Cato, Marina Weiner, Matt Reynolds, Mike Chattem, Monroe Eisenberg, Kayla Mattes, Munro Galloway, Spenser Atlas, Tyler Mcmartin.

If we can say an artwork is like a completed thought - somehow, it coheres as a singular thing, more or less - then a small scale work is somehow not quite whole in the same way. It is more about an in-between state - speaking to an ongoing process - about something becoming, like a word on the tip of your tongue - or just a word, but not a sentence. It could be a study, or a plan belonging not even to a body, but maybe a limb of work? A test or a technique, a trial or sketch - for in between the previous & next things. It’s a model, in progress maybe, a smaller version of a bigger thing. In this case we will be exhibiting paintings, works on paper, sculptures & a lamp.
